Gumption

How true is that line about working ont he bike and not being able to get that one screw out and getting stuck...

"The entire value of the bike is now nothing more than that damn 5 cent screw stuck in the side cover."

Time for a cup of coffee.

I've got so much to say I think I need to some back later after thinking things thru.

Incidentally, why hasn't someone come up with a punctuation to mean that you are paraphrasing someone and not in fact quoting them? I suggest it should be a triple quotation mark.

Your innate wisdom is showing... "Time for a cup of coffee"

Taking a smoke break or coffee break or a "Breaking useless inanimate objects" break is So much preferable than Brute-Forcing your way through a tricky repair. Take time... think, spray with WD, put it to bed for a day or two... come back fresh, make a bit of progress, repeat unitl finished. Remember that even finding 5 ways that it won't work have brought you closer to a solution that WILL.

There may Always be that one stuck screw in any project. It will be dealt with... How you deal with it shows you alot about what you need to work on in yourself... Me, I need to realize that no matter how hard or loud I swear... the screw is still there. Someday I'll get there
