We who've read the book remember Persig's situation & history.

I've a neighbor who the Bush Justice Department is trying to incarcerate and forcibly medicate without a trial. It's a tough situation for me because I kind of like her although she was frequently a pita as a landlord.

How true is that line about working ont he bike and not being able to get that one screw out and getting stuck...

"The entire value of the bike is now nothing more than that damn 5 cent screw stuck in the side cover."

Time for a cup of coffee.

I've got so much to say I think I need to some back later after thinking things thru.

Incidentally, why hasn't someone come up with a punctuation to mean that you are paraphrasing someone and not in fact quoting them? I suggest it should be a triple quotation mark.

Zen and the Art is a book that has been very important in my life. It is one of the books that i re-read every couple of years and it continues to inform my life.
